One Monthly Goal – March 2018

Happy Wednesday!

To my friends on the east coast I pray that you are surviving the “Nor’easter”. Spring will be here soon 🙂

Deadlines motivate me to get things accomplished so I am joining the Elm Street Quilts – One Monthly Goal challenge.

I began the project “You’ve Got Mail” sometime in 2013 after viewing the Missouri Star Quilt Company Tutorial.  I’d managed to create the half square triangles and put them in a ziplock bag. During our move I found the bag and labeled it UFO.

Today I squared up the half square triangles, stitched out the envelope quilt blocks and laid the quilt out on my design floor. My goal for March is to finish this quilt — It’s about time wouldn’t you agree?

I also started a new baby quilt project – nine patch madness a variation of the disappearing nine patch quilt block. I was able to make nine blocks  using the charm pack Extravaganza by Lila Tueller for Riley Blake. I’m so loving the pinks and purple.
